Dominican Republic clinch Bronze at the Centrobasket 2014. They posted a 75:66 win over Cuba in the game for 3-4 places. Cuba started better and allowed the opponents to score only 17 points in the first and then the second quarters. They grabbed 37:34 halftime advantage, however Dominican Republic dominated the third period. The latter needed a 31-14 surge to secure the victory. Edward Santana top-scored for the winners with 16 points. James Maye nailed 12, whilst Victor Liz added 11. Joan Luis and Orestes Torres produced 12 points each in a loss, while Osmel Olivia posted 11. Both teams will head to 2015 Fiba Americas Championship.
