Latvia remained undefeated in Group F action. They fired past Romania in Riga to improve at 3-0 record on top of the standings. Janis Blums netted 17 points to pace the Baltic team. Latvia led by just a single point at the interval 36:35. But they unloaded 29 points in the third quarter to boost the margin at 12-point mark. Romania managed just 12 points in the fourth frame and had to surrender at the end. Janis Strelnieks produced 12 points and 6 assists for the winners. Vlad-Sorin Moldoveanu answered with 17 points for Romania.
