Ukraine prove high ambitions with win over Turkey at the 2014 World Cup. In Day 3 Ukraine gained a 64-58 victory and improved to 2-1 record in Group C. Both teams nailed 13 points each in the first period and then Turkey pated the same amount of points in the second frame to take a 26-25 half-time advantage. Ukraine meanwhile looked better at the second half. The latter won the third period 16-13 and then due to a great percentage of the three-pointers added a final 23-19 rally in the last quarter. Olexandr Mishula top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Zaytsev added 12. Jeter Eugene followed them with 10 points, while Oleksandr Lypovyy notched 7.
