Regular Season Day 4: TURKEY - FINLAND 77-73 OT

Turkey recorded the second victory at the World Cup. They outlasted Finland in an overtime thriller to improve at 2-2 record. Omer Asik stepped up with 22 points and 8 rebounds to pace the Turkish team. Akyol drained a triple with 4 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime. Gonlum and Preldzic teamed up for 9 points for Turkey in the extra period and sealed the victory. Preldzic had 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, while Arslan added 12 points for the winners. Koponen responded with 17 points for Finland. Salin had 15 points in the loss.
