KL Dragons gained the third consecutive victory in the ASEAN League season. They eked out a narrow road win over the Saigon Heat to improve at 8-3 record in the second position in the ladder. Knox stepped up with 30 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Malaysian team. The Heat got to a confident start. The hosts took a 20:15 lead after ten minutes. They fired 28 points in the second period to enjoy a 6-point halftime lead. The Dragons cut the deficit in the third period. They pulled within three points at the final intermission. The visitors followed with a 23:17 rally in the final stanza and snatched a narrow victory at the end. Eversley delivered 23 points and 11 boards, while Scharer added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists in the win. Justin Williams answered with 28 points and 15 rebounds for the Heat. Arnold had 22 points in the loss.
