Lowhorn Dior stepped up with 24 points and 14 rebounds to lead the winners. The Thai team eked out a 14:13 lead after the opening quarter. But the Slingers took over in the second frame. The hosts went on a 23:14 run to secure a 36:28 halftime advantage. The Slingers boosted the margin in the third term. The hosts ensured a 12-point lead heading into the fourth period. Hitech Bangkok cut the distance in the final quarter but stopped just short of win at the end. Wong Wei Long (187-G-88) had 17 points, while Howard Justin added 12 points and 19 rebounds in the victory. Steve Thomas responded with 20 points and 15 boards for Hitech Bangkok. Christien Charles had 18 points and 10 boards in the defeat.
