South Korea advanced into the Asian Games Final. The hosts held off Japan in the semifinal clash today. Jong-Hyun Lee provided 12 points to lead the winners. Japan and South Korea exchanged baskets throughout the first half. The scoreboard read 34:34 at halftime. But the Korean side went on a 15:9 run in the third term to take a decisive lead at the final intermission. They dropped 22 points in the final stanza to seal the win. Dong-Geun Yang tallied 11 points for the winners. Naoto Tsuji responded with 18 points for Japan.
