Japan outgunned Taiwan to step onto the pedestal in Incheon. They claimed the Bronze medals. Sanae Motokawa scored 12 points to lead Japan to the victory. Taiwan claimed a 33:31 halftime lead. They extended teh advantage at 12-point mark holding Japan to just 6 points in the third term. But Japan responded with a 24:10 run in the fourth quarter and sealed the winning outcome. Evelyn Mawuli accounted for 9 points in the victory. Ping-Chen Huang and Pei-Chen Tsai responded with 13 points each for Taiwan.
