Very expected game when Oita Heat Devils (0-2) were smashed on the road by Kyoto Hannar. (2-0) 76-57 on Sunday. Kyoto Hannar. forced 20 Oita Heat Devils turnovers. Oita Heat Devils were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Ryan Forehan-Kelly (196-80, college: California) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points. The other American import forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures. American center Todd O'Brien (213-89, college: UAB) replied with 12 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Brazilian forward Kazuya Hatano (192-82) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Oita Heat Devils.
