BG 74 Veilchen used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Hagen 73-43. The game without a history. BG 74 Veilchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Hagen Phoenix's 32. American guard Monique Smalls (168-91, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. BG 74 Veilchen will play against Braunschweig on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hagen Phoenix will play against Hannover to get more than just one victory in their record.
