Regular Season Round 2: Malbas - IK Eos 80-90

Another interesting game for IK Eos (2-0) which played in Malmo against Malbas (1-1). IK Eos had an easy win 90-80. It looked good early as Malbas took an 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then IK Eos had a 30-14 second period charge getting the lead and Malbas were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 80-90. IK Eos forced 19 Malbas turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Malbas were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Gustav Nystrom (190-89, college: Hope) scored 27 points to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) chipped in 17 points and 8 assists during the contest. Forward Fredrik Larsson (200-93) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. IK Eos will play against Haga Haninge (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Malbas will play against Sanda Basket in Huskvarna to get more than just one victory in their record.
