Regular Season Round 3: Huddinge - Helsingborg 73-71

A very close game took place in between Huddinge and Helsingborg. Huddinge (2-1) got a very close home victory over Helsingborg (2-2). Huddinge managed to escape with a 2-point win 73-71 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-18. But Helsingborg won second period 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Huddinge forced 22 Helsingborg turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Aron Thorell-Walker (208-88) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Jean-charles Coffi chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Max Johansson (195-92) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Martin Fastberg (189-91) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Huddinge will meet at home Talje Knights in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Helsingborg will play against Haga Haninge and hope to secure a win.
