Regular Season Round 4: CFBB - Bordeaux 59-83

JSA Bordeaux can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Paris, where they outplayed CFBB (0-3) 83-59. JSA Bordeaux made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 CFBB turnovers. CFBB was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish power forward Roberto Morentin (206-81, college: Cent.Florida) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Cameroonian guard Ralph Temgoua (196-87, college: St.Lawrence) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five JSA Bordeaux players scored in double figures. Stephane Gombauld (203-97) replied with 20 points and 4 steals and power forward Jonathan Jeanne (212-97) added 13 points in the effort for CFBB. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. JSA Bordeaux (1-3) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with St Vallier. It was CFBB's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. JSA Bordeaux will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. CFBB will play on the road against UB Chartres (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
