Regular Season Round 1: MZT Skopje - Feni Indistrija 73-80

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of MZT Skopje (0-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Feni Indistrija (1-0) 80-73. Feni Indistrija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin Goran Gajovic (199-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. The former international guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. American guard Jourdan Demuynck (198-90, college: Prairie View A&M) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian-Slovenian Ivan Marinkovic (210-93) added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for MZT Skopje. Five Feni Indistrija and four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Feni Indistrija is looking forward to face ABA Strumica at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. MZT Skopje will have a break next round.
