The Saigon Heat outgunned the Singapore Slingers in the latest ASEAN League encounter. Justin Williams stepped up with 32 points and 18 rebounds to pace the Vietnam team. The Heat got to a very strong start. They built a 26:9 lead after the first period. The Heat maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. Saigon ensured a 41:20 halftime lead. The Heat did not loosen the grasp in the third quarter. They secured a 24-point lead heading into the fourth stanza. The Slingers nailed 26 points in the final frame but could not avoid the defeat. Dustin Scott had 22 points and 14 boards, while David Arnold added 13 points, 6 assists and 4 boards for the winners. Lowhorn Dior responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the Slingers. Howard Justin tallied 20 points and 12 boards in the loss.
