The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Dragonflies as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dragonflies defeated their biggest opponent Wakayama T. on the road 50-44. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Wakayama T.. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Wakayama T. will play next round against strong Mitsubishi Dolphins trying to get back on the winning streak.
