Regular Season Round 8: BK Decin - BK Kolin 75-59

Very expected game when 9th ranked BK Kolin (2-6) was defeated on the road by third ranked BK Decin (5-2) 75-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. BK Decin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BK Kolin to just 6 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international Jakub Houska (207-82) who scored 17 points. Swingman Pavel Bosak (192-82) chipped in 14 points. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international center Ales Chan (215-80, college: Seton Hill) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward David Machac (205-80) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. BK Decin maintains third position with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader BK Pardubice, which they share with Svitavy. BK Kolin at the other side dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. BK Decin will face BK Usti nad Labem on the road in the next round. BK Kolin will play against Basketbal Svitavy and hope to win that game.
