The best for the losing side was American power forward Harper Kamp (203-88, college: California) with 18 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard David Godbold (196-85, college: Oklahoma) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Telekom Baskets (3-3) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser BG Goettingen dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. Telekom Baskets will face BBC Bayreuth (#7) at home in the next round. BG Goettingen will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
