Regular Season Round 4: Craiova - U-Banca TR 90-86

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Craiova and 5th ranked U-Banca TR had identical 2-1 record. This time Craiova used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Cluj 90-86. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Craiova players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. U-Banca TR's coach Dorin Pintea rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Craiova (3-1) moved-up to second place, which they share with Ploiesti and Pitesti. U-Banca TR at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. Craiova's next round opponent will be Pitesti at home, which may be the game of the day. U-Banca TR will play against CSU Sibiu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
