Regular Season Round 3: Karpos Sokoli - Kumanovo 69-61

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Kumanovo 2009 (2-1) in Skopje. Visitors were defeated by Karpos Sokoli (3-0) 69-61. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kumanovo 2009 won third quarter 21-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Karpos Sokoli won last quarter 22-15. It was a good game for Serbian guard Aleksandar Vasic (185-87) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Naturalized Bulgarian center Kiril Pavlovski (210-85, agency: Global Sports Plaza) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Karpos Sokoli players scored in double figures. Serbian swingman Vukasin Mandic (200-82) answered with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Aleksandar Sterjov added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kumanovo 2009. Kumanovo 2009's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Karpos Sokoli will play against Feni Indistrija in Kavadarci in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kumanovo 2009 will play on the road against Goce Delchev in Shtip and hopes to get back on the winning track.
