The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Cheliabinsk (5-1) in Maykop on Monday night. Visitors were edged by second ranked Dynamo-MGTU (4-2) 72-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cheliabinsk. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Dynamo-MGTU forced 25 Cheliabinsk turnovers. Dynamo-MGTU have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 4-2 record behind leader Dynamo Kursk. Newly promoted Cheliabinsk still keeps top position with one game lost. Dynamo-MGTU are looking forward to face Musson (#8) in Symferopil in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cheliabinsk will play at home against Cheboksari (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
