The game in Joniskis was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Petrochema (6-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Delikatesas (6-4). Delikatesas managed to secure a 4-point victory 75-71 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 14-9 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Delikatesas outrebounded Petrochema 43-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. Delikatesas will face Zalgiris II (#9) in Kaunas in the next round where they are favorite. Petrochema will play on the road against Suduva-Mantinga (#5) in Marijampole and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
