Hitech Bangkok became the first ASEAN League finalists. They claimed the second straight victory over the Singapore Slingers to sweep the series. Patrick Cabahug nailed 26 points to lead the winners. Hitech Bankgok unleashed 30 points in the first frame and opened a 14-point advantage. The Slingers cut the deficit at 3-point mark at the interval 40:43. But the visitors held the Slingers to just 9 points in the third term to open a 9-point lead at the final intermission. The Slingers stayed competitive throughout the fourth period. But Patrick Cabahug and Jerick Canada came up with decisive baskets late in regulation to seal the victory for the visitors. Christien Charles had 18 points, while Jerick Canada added 14 points for the winning side. Lowhorn Dior responded with 21 points for the Slingers. Howard Justin had 19 points in the loss.
