Regular Season Round 4: Nymburk - Lokomotiva 81-69

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Nymburk (3-1) defeated at home 7th ranked Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (1-3) 81-69. The game was mostly controlled by Nymburk. Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary was better in third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary 52-37 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nymburk players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. It was a very good performance for American power forward Jacinta Monroe (193-88, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Bahamas center Waltiea Rolle (198-90, college: N.Carolina) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks for the winners. American guard Hazel Ramirez (165-92, college: Loyola Mary) replied with 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Dana Kuslitova (182-90) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nymburk moved-up to second place, which they share with IMOS Brno. Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary at the other side dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with Slovanka MB and VS Praha. Nymburk will play against VS Praha on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary will play against SBS Ostrava to get more than just one victory in their record.
