Very important is a road loss of second ranked JA Vichy (5-2) against twelfth ranked Sorgues BC (3-4) on Saturday night. Visiting JA Vichy was defeated by Sorgues BC in Sorgues 91-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of JA Vichy. The game without a history. Sorgues BC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sorgues BC forced 25 JA Vichy turnovers. JA Vichy was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American-British power forward Tafari Toney (203-86) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Bateko Francisco (185-84, college: Robert Morris) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Sorgues BC's coach Stephane Dao allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Octavio Da Silveira (204-89) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and American-Italian swingman Ryan Zamroz (192-87, college: Master's, agency: Players Group) added 13 points in the effort for JA Vichy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sorgues BC moved-up to tenth place, which they share with St Vallier and Quimper. JA Vichy at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Sorgues BC will play against higher ranked Rueil (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JA Vichy will play against the league's leader Saint Chamond (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
