The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked CASLA (5-2) in Olavarria on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Estudiantes O. (3-3) 73-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CASLA. The game was mostly controlled by Estudiantes O.. CASLA managed to win third quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Estudiantes O. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to CASLA's 28. It was a good game for point guard Nicolas Paletta (180-87) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals.
