Regular Season Round 8: Boston C. - Toronto R. 107-110

Kyle Lowry scored 35 points and DeMar DeRozan had 23 as visiting Toronto outlasted Boston. Lowry went 12-of-17 from the floor and Patrick Patterson added 14 points for the Raptors, who improved to 4-1. Louis Williams chipped in 11 points off the bench and Toronto scored 36 points off turnovers. Rajon Rondo recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds while Jared Sullinger collected 19 points and 16 boards for the Celtics. Jeff Green scored 20 and Kelly Olynyk added 18 points and 13 rebounds as Boston dominated the glass 55-24. Greivis Vasquez's basket gave the Raptors a 100-92 lead with 5:35 left before the Celtics got back into it from beyond the arc, getting 3-pointers from Olynk, Green and Marcus Smart during an 11-5 burst that knotted it at 105 with 1:09 to play. Boston had a chance to grab the lead but Lowry stole the ball from Smart and fed DeRozan for a dunk and a foul, and Lowry nailed a jumper with eight seconds left to provide the final margin. The Celtics led by as much as 16 points while shooting 78.9 percent from the field in the first quarter but went 9-of-24 from the field in the second and the Raptors scored 21 points off turnovers in the half to creep within 57-54 at the break.
