Important game to mention about took place in Brno. Twelfth ranked MMCITE Brno (2-8) saved a 2-point victory at home edging second-ranked BK Decin (7-3) 74-72 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of BK Decin. They outrebounded BK Decin 41-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international guard Ondrej Dygryn (190-84) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Roman Zachrla (200-87) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four MMCITE Brno players scored in double figures. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) answered with 24 points and guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92) added 16 points and 5 steals (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) in the effort for BK Decin. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MMCITE Brno maintains twelfth place with 2-8 record. BK Decin at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. MMCITE Brno will play against higher ranked Basketbal Svitavy (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Decin will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and hopes to get back on the winning track.
