ALBA Berlin dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Limoges CSP Elite's 22. They outrebounded Limoges CSP Elite 37-22 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for ALBA Berlin especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Quite impressive performance for forward Jamel McLean (203-88, college: Xavier) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). point guard Alex Renfroe (190-86, college: Belmont, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. Guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) replied with 17 points and guard Ramel Curry (191-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) added 13 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Limoges CSP Elite. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA Berlin left bottom position moving up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Cedevita and Limoges. ALBA Berlin will face Cedevita in Zagreb in the next round. Limoges CSP Elite will play at home against the league's leader CSKA Moscow and hope to win that game.
