Very expected game in Akdeniz where 17th ranked Mersin (1-5) was defeated by ninth ranked Gediz (4-2) 79-70 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 25-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Adonte Parker (183-89, college: Dayton) who scored 22 points and 8 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
