Date: November 8, 2014
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Sluc Nancy and 11th ranked STB Le Havre had identical 3-3 record. But STB Le Havre was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Nancy 78-72 on Saturday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But STB Le Havre won fourth quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American point guard Darius Adams (186-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Florent Pietrus (202-81) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. Sluc Nancy's coach Alain Weisz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sluc Nancy (4-3) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser STB Le Havre dropped to the ninth position with four games lost.
