Regular Season Round 12: Bambitious Nara - Iwate Big Bulls 70-85

BJ League top team - Iwate Big Bulls (11-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Bambitious Nara (2-6) 85-70. The game was mostly controlled by Iwate Big Bulls. Bambitious Nara was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Iwate Big Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle, agency: Global Sports Plaza) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) added 24 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Iwate Big Bulls have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record, which they share with Kyoto Hannar. Bambitious Nara lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with six games lost. Iwate Big Bulls will face Shimane Magic (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
