Hitech Bangkok are the new ASEAN League champions. They overcame Westports KL Dragons in the second game of the Finals to complete the sweep of the series. Cabahug scored 23 points to lead the winners. KL Dragons had their backs against the wall heading into the game. They started it aggressively taking a 20:15 lead after the opening frame. The Malaysian team maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. KL Dragons ensured a 38:32 halftime lead. But Hitech Bangkok cut the distance in the third term. They shifted the gear and pulled within one point at the final intermission. Hitech Bangkok went on a 19:12 run in the fourth frame and snatched a historic victory at the end. Christien Charles had 15 points and 19 rebounds, while Canada added 18 points for the champions. Shee Fai Loh responded with 17 points for the Dragons. Knox had 14 points and 13 boards in the loss.
