Regular Season Round 7: KK Split - Osijek 81-65

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked KK Split (3-3) beat at home 9th ranked Vrijednosnice OS (2-5) 81-65 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by KK Split. Vrijednosnice OS managed to win fourth quarter 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Mateo Kedzo (206-84) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 4 assists. Power forward Stjepan Tesija (203-89) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Five KK Split players scored in double figures. KK Split's coach Jaksa Vulic used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Filip Toncinic (212-84, college: Texas A&M-CC) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Luka Panduric (190-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 17 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for Vrijednosnice OS in the defeat. KK Split moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Zabok. Loser Vrijednosnice OS keeps the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Jolly JBS. KK Split will meet Jolly (#9) in the next round. Vrijednosnice OS will have a break next round.
