The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of German ratiopharm Ulm (2-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by Italian Enel Brindisi (2-1) 77-76. ratiopharm Ulm was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 21-19 charge of Enel Brindisi, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to ratiopharm Ulm's 22.
