The game in Levice was also quite interesting. Second ranked Rieker KN (12-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Levice (7-8). Rieker KN defeated Levice 94-84 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Levice. Rieker KN looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard T.J. Bannister (180-84, college: Liberty, agency: KMG Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Croatian forward Sasa Jankovic (204-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Rieker KN's coach Miljan Curovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92) who recorded 23 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Malik Story (196-90, college: Nevada, agency: Two Points) added 22 points respectively. Five Rieker KN and four Levice players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rieker KN. They maintain second place with 12-3 record behind leader Inter Bratislava. Loser Levice dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Handlova. Rieker KN will meet at home league's leader Inter Bratislava in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levice will play against Karlovka (#8) in Bratislava and hope to secure a win.
