Regular Season Round 15: Prostejov - BK Pardubice 86-81

An interesting game for Prostejov (11-4) which hosted in Prostejov second-best BK Pardubice (11-4). Third ranked Prostejov managed to get a 5-point victory 86-81. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 32-23. But BK Pardubice won second period 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Prostejov forced 19 BK Pardubice turnovers. It was a great evening for naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Radek Necas (206-80) helped adding 7 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Prostejov players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Levell Sanders (189-75, college: Seton Hall) scored 14 points. Prostejov have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated BK Pardubice. Prostejov will play against league's leader BK Decin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BK Pardubice will play against CEZ Nymburk and hopes to get back on the winning track.
