Regular Season Round 31: Milwaukee B. - Houston R. 103-117

Date: November 29, 2014
James Harden scored 34 points as the Houston Rockets rolled to a 117-103 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Harden made nine shots -- including four 3-pointers -- and was 12 for 13 from the line. He scored 19 of his points in the third quarter as the Rockets led by as many as 18. Harden paced a Houston offense that shot 52 percent for the game and made 15 of 38 3-pointers. Forward Donatas Motiejunas finished with 20, shooting guard Jason Terry scored 18 and forward Trevor Ariza chipped in 14 for the Rockets, who have won four of their last five games. Milwaukee was looking to win four games in a row for the first time since March 2013 but instead had its winning streak snapped at three after a night of cold shooting. The Bucks were 33 of 73 from the field and 6 of 19 from distance. Forward Jabari Parker went 13 for 14 from the free-throw line to lead Milwaukee with 19 points and forward Ersan Ilyasova went 7 for 14 from the field to finish with 18. Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 17 to go along with seven rebounds while point guard Brandon Knight finished with 12 and center Larry Sanders and forward Khris Middleton each added 11. Coming off an 18-point home loss to the Clippers Friday, the Rockets shot 43 percent from the field Houston but a seven-point lead into halftime in large part by dominating on the offensive boards, where the Rockets held 9-2 advantage which they converted into 10 second-chance points. Ariza missed eight shots in the half but sank 3 of 7 3-point attempts to score line in the half while Harden went 7-for-7 from the line to score 10. Courtesy of: kspr.com
