Regular Season Round 8: Rabotnicki - Kumanovo 69-60

An interesting game for Rabotnicki (6-1) which hosted in Skopje second-ranked Kumanovo 2009 (5-3). First ranked Rabotnicki managed to get a 9-point victory 69-60. Kumanovo 2009 was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 42-30 second half run of Rabotnicki. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Dimitar Mirakovski (177-81, agency: Interperformances) who added 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. International forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian point guard Sasa Avramovic (193-93, agency: Beo Basket) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Rabotnicki have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-1 record. Kumanovo 2009 at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Rabotnicki will play against league's second-placed Feni Indistrija in Kavadarci in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kumanovo 2009 will play at home against MZT Skopje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
