Bottom-ranked Canarias is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to eighth ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (5-4) 75-71. Canarias was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 30-20 third quarter run of Fontedoso Carrefour. They outrebounded Canarias 37-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American-Jamaican center Dane Johnson (208-86, college: Hofstra) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Alejandro Marin (190-88) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Kaleb Wright (193, college: Emporia St.) who recorded 20 points and swingman Roberto Guerra (196-83) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fontedoso Carrefour moved-up to seventh place. Canarias lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with eight games lost. Fontedoso Carrefour's next round opponent will be Cambados (#12) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Canarias will play against FC Barcelona II and hopes to get finally their first victory.
