Regular Season Round 8: Rapla - Dynamo MO 64-66

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Estonian TYCO Rapla (3-4) was edged at home by Russian Dynamo Moscow (2-5) 66-64 on Tuesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But TYCO Rapla won third quarter 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TYCO Rapla was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Vladislav Trushkin (201-93) who scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Evgeny Karpeko (204-89, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Lithuanian point guard Ernestas Ezerskis (192-87) produced 21 points and 5 assists and forward Rait Keerles (201-80, agency: Promotex) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Dynamo Moscow maintains eighteenth position with 2-5 record. TYCO Rapla lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with four games lost. Dynamo Moscow will face higher ranked Liepaja/Triobet at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
