Regular Season Round 12: MCKiS Jaworz. - Gimbasket Wroclaw 88-45

Very predictable result when fourth ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (8-3) rolled over bottom-ranked Gimbasket Wroclaw (0-11) in Jaworzno 88-45 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by MCKiS Jaworz.. Gimbasket Wroclaw was better in fourth quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MCKiS Jaworz. forced 21 Gimbasket Wroclaw turnovers. It was a good game for swingman Grzegorz Remin (191-82) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 7 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Power forward Daniel Goldammer (200-89) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four MCKiS Jaworz. players scored in double figures. Swingman Bartosz Zajac (195-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jakub Wajerowski (198-94) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Gimbasket Wroclaw. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. MCKiS Jaworz. moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with Mickiewicz. Loser Gimbasket Wroclaw still closes the standings with 11 games lost. MCKiS Jaworz. will face Cieszyn (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gimbasket Wroclaw will play against AZS PCz and hopes to get finally their first victory.
