Another exciting game for Shahrdari Gorgan (3-5) which hosted 4th placed Qazvin (3-4). Eighth ranked Shahrdari Gorgan won 64-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Qazvin. Qazvin was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 21-10 third quarter run of Shahrdari Gorgan. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 27 Qazvin turnovers. Qazvin was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international power forward Sasoon Abramian (208-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and the former international Pouya Tajik (201-80) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five Shahrdari Gorgan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international center Mohammad Yousofvand (207-96) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and center Amir Esmaeil Taheri Kolahdooz (208-94) scored 10 points. Qazvin's coach Mohammed Reza Eslami tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Shahrdari Gorgan moved-up to seventh place. Qazvin at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with PMINA Esfahan. Shahrdari Gorgan will play against bottom-ranked Sanaye (#9) in Mahshahr in the next round. Qazvin will play at home against Naft Abadan (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
