Regular Season Round 21: MMCITE Brno - BK Pardubice 74-82

Very expected game when 12th ranked MMCITE Brno (3-17) lost at home to second ranked BK Pardubice (14-6) 82-74. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-19. But MMCITE Brno won second period 23-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. BK Pardubice's coach Dusan Bohunicky allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jakub Krakovic (205-90) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Jaroslav Prasil (200-80) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. BK Pardubice maintains second place with 14-6 record having just two points less than leader BK Decin. MMCITE Brno lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. BK Pardubice's next round opponent will be BK Lions Hradec (#4) in J.Hradec. MMCITE Brno will play on the road against the league's leader BK Decin (#1) and hope to win that game.
