Very expected game when 13th ranked Cognac BB (3-10) lost on the road to ninth ranked La Rochelle (7-5) 87-78 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 49-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. La Rochelle looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. La Rochelle moved-up to seventh place, which they share with GET Vosges. Loser Cognac BB dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Quimper. La Rochelle will meet Quimper UJAP (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cognac BB will play against CFBB and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
