Regular Season Round 11: Ribola Kastela - Alkar Sinj 73-68

A1 round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of Alkar Sinj (7-3) against seventh ranked Ribola Kastela (5-5) 73-68 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Alkar Sinj. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Alkar Sinj won third quarter 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Nikola Dosen (190-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Bosnian forward Ante Masic (200-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Toni Vitali (203-91) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Antonio Bilic (188-86) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Alkar Sinj. Alkar Sinj's coach Damir Milacic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ribola Kastela moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zabok and Gorica. Alkar Sinj at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Kvarner 2010. Alkar Sinj will play next round against KK Split trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Ribola Kastela will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked GKK Sibenik at home.
