No shocking result in a game when second ranked Strasbourg IG (11-1) defeated on the road 6th ranked Chalon/Saor (6-6) 56-52 on Sunday. Chalon/Saor was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was American Matt Howard (203-89, college: Butler) who scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. chipped in 8 points and 5 assists. Strasbourg IG's coach Vincent Collet used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and American-DR Congolese power forward Judson Wallace (205-82, college: Princeton) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Strasbourg IG have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Chalon/Saor at the other side dropped to the seventh place with six games lost.
