Regular Season Round 23: Silute - Petrochema 74-60

An interesting game took place in Silute where higher ranked Petrochema (14-9) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Silute (9-14) 74-60. The game was mostly controlled by Silute. Petrochema was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Petrochema 37-18 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 5 assists. Silute's next round opponent will be higher ranked Suduva-Mantinga (#4) in Marijampole and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Petrochema will play at home against Delikatesas and hope to win that game.
