Another exciting game was played in Jonava between eighth ranked Delikatesas and 5th ranked Petrochema where Delikatesas (12-12) won against Petrochema (14-10) on the road 77-72. Petrochema was ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 27-12 charge of Delikatesas, which allowed them to win the game. Petrochema was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Sarunas Kulevicius (194-89) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Aivaras Galkauskas (203-91) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) replied with 19 points and 6 rebounds and forward Aurimas Urbonas (197-93) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Petrochema. Delikatesas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nafta-Uni. and Palanga. Petrochema lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. Delikatesas will play against Zalgiris II (#10) in Kaunas in the next round. Petrochema will play at home against Suduva-Mantinga (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
