C.J. Miles had 28 points and six rebounds as Indiana defeated Minnesota to end an eight-game road losing streak. Roy Hibbert contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots and David West drained the tiebreaking shot while scoring 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting for the Pacers. Luis Scola added 10 points and Donald Sloan had 10 points and seven assists as Indiana won for just the second time in 12 games. Mo Williams had 24 points and 10 assists and Shabazz Muhammad scored 21 points for the Timberwolves, who lost their fifth straight game. Chase Budinger added 13 points and Gorgui Dieng had 10 points and seven rebounds. A basket by West gave the Pacers an 87-81 lead with 5:26 remaining before the Timberwolves answered with six straight points and tied the game on Williams' basket with 3:36 to play. Indiana took a 94-92 lead on a 3-pointer by Miles with two minutes left and Dieng hit two tying free throws with 1:36 to go before West hit a short jumper with 34.3 seconds left to give the Pacers a two-point edge, and Miles hit four free throws in the final 11.7 seconds to seal it. Indiana had runs of 12-2 and 10-0 in the second quarter while building a 52-38 halftime lead. The Pacers increased the lead to 19 early in the third quarter before Minnesota ripped off a 17-1 surge to get within three before Indiana took a 75-68 lead into the final stanza.
